  1. This document contains a brief explanation of Time Master and
  2. Time Slave NLM. Furthermore, you'll find last minute info about our
  3. current developments, as well as information on how to register for
  4. this software package.

  10.                           Brief User Manual
  11.  
  12. Time Master:
  13.  
  14. load TM                  Default mode
  15. load TM verbose          NLM will display message if file server
  16.                          time has been sent to requesting TS
  17.

  19. Time Slave:
  20.  
  21. load TS                  Default mode
  22. load TS verbose          NLM will display message if file server
  23.                          time synchronized
  24. load TS <time>           Specifies time interval between two
  25.                          successive time queries in seconds.
  26.                          Default time interval is 300 seconds.
  27. load TS verbose <time>   NLM will display message if time
  28.                          synchronized AND time interval between
  29.                          queries specified
  30.  
  31. Loading the NLMs with the '/?' option will display the NLM's
  32. "Usage" text.

  34. These NLMs have been tested on NetWare 3.10 and NetWare 3.11.
  35. The most recent version is version 1.50. (FdW Dec 29 1992)

  37. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please don't

  40. Also available are Time Master and Time Slave VAPs that can
  41. communicate with TM.NLM and TS.NLM. If you have a NetWare 286
  42. internetwork, or if you have a mix of NetWare 286 and NetWare 386
  43. servers, the VAPs might be a solution for time-keeping in your
  44. internetwork. If you're interested, please give us a call.

  54. copy. If you donate an additional $20,= per copy (with a maximum
  55. of $100,=), you will automatically receive one future upgrade of

  80. This commercial version of the software, version 2.11, supports timezones.
  81. So Novell networks currently implemented as a WAN spreaded over more
  82. than one time zone can now also use TM & TS.NLM. This version works
  83. with command-line parameters on the slave side (where TS.NLM is running)
  84. specifying the time as an offset to the time as defined at the TM site.
